The Freedom Hall and Mercantile work together, forming a head, heart, and hands approach to supporting our “modern-day” community needs. The Hall focuses on our Constitutional Rights and traditional homestead teachings in a venue that harkens back to Faneuil Hall; The Freedom Mercantile adds to the Hall as an integrated auxiliary that perfectly complements its goals and teachings by providing locally sourced and supplied, healthy goods, in order to support its community members.
The Mercantile is structured as a faith-based organization under the IRS Code. 508 (c) (1) (a). The Mercantile exercises its freedom to contract with others as the parties agree, and its vendors may contract with their customers as they see fit, operating in the private, not public. Therefore all customers of The Freedom Mercantile upon agreeing to the organization’s terms, and conditions will become members of The Mercantile, receiving a card key for access and a simple member handbook!
